Final plot (FP)
A Final Plot, abbreviated FP, is the serviced plot of land returned to a landowner after a Town Planning scheme reconstitutes the original parcels. Each Final Plot has a unique FP number that identifies its exact location and boundary in the sanctioned scheme.

What a Final Plot is
When a Town Planning scheme reorganises an area, the original land parcels, known as original plots, are pooled and reshaped into a planned layout. Each landowner receives back a Final Plot, or FP, which is a defined, serviced plot with road access, in exchange for the deducted land used for roads, utilities and public spaces. Every Final Plot carries a unique FP number tied to its TP scheme (a town planning scheme, the legal process that pools farmland, lays out roads and returns a smaller serviced plot to each owner). That number is the precise legal and spatial identity of the land within the sanctioned scheme, far more reliable than a marketing description or an informal survey number.
Why the Final Plot number matters
The FP number and the TP scheme together tell you exactly where a plot sits, how it is zoned and how close it is to serviced infrastructure such as the Activation Area (the first phase of Dholera to get roads, water, power and drainage), central spine road or airport. Final Plot allotment status is a documented driver of land value in Dholera. For any transaction, confirming the FP number against the sanctioned TP scheme records, along with title documents like the sale deed and the 7/12 extract, is the way to verify that a plot is genuinely what it is claimed to be. A plot without a clear FP number inside an approved scheme should be treated with caution.
