The 7/12 extract, known in Gujarati and Marathi regions as the Satbara Utara, is an official land record maintained by the revenue department for agricultural land. It combines two forms, village form 7 which records ownership and rights, and village form 12 which records crop and cultivation details. The document shows the survey number, the area, the recorded owners and any rights or liabilities on the parcel. It is one of the primary records for establishing who owns a piece of agricultural land and on what terms.
