What NICDC is
NICDC stands for the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation. It is the central nodal agency responsible for developing India's industrial corridors. It began as the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation, or DMICDC, focused on the Delhi to Mumbai corridor, and was later renamed NICDC as its remit widened to cover several corridors across the country. NICDC coordinates the overall planning, funding structures and progress monitoring for corridor nodes, acting as the central counterpart to the state governments that host them. It does not usually build a city directly; instead it works through dedicated delivery vehicles at each node. How NICDC connects to Dholera
In Dholera the corridor structure connects to two state-linked bodies. DSIRDA, the Dholera Special Investment Region Development Authority, is the statutory planning and land authority. What NICDC does not guarantee
